Moonmate Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how IslamicApps.Org ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information in Moonmate (com.ai.moonmate.app) (the "App"). Moonmate is a love and astrology entertainment app with love tests, Moon Phase Match, a soulmate sketch, AI soulmate chat, love tarot, palm and face readings, love horoscope and a daily love card. By using the App you agree to this Policy. For the purposes of laws such as the GDPR, we are the data controller.

1. Information You Provide

• Profile: your name, what you are looking for, birth date, birth time (optional) and birth place. We use them to create your love profile, readings and soulmate sketch. You can edit them in Settings > Edit profile.
• Other people you add: names and birth dates you enter for tests such as Moon Phase Match or Name Love Score. Only enter details you have the right to share.
• Soulmate chat: the messages you send to the AI soulmate character and its replies.
• Tarot questions you type, and feedback or support messages you send us (including your email address if you contact us).

2. Camera and Photos

Palm and face readings use your camera or a photo you choose. Images are analyzed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers or shared. Camera access is requested only when you start a scan.

3. Location

Approximate location is used only when you tap "Use current location" to fill in your birth place. It is never collected in the background. You can also type your birth place instead.

4. Information Collected Automatically

• Device and usage data: device model, OS version, language, time zone, app version, features used and in-app events (Firebase Analytics).
• Identifiers: an anonymous account ID (Firebase Authentication), your device's advertising ID, a push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and install referrer data, used for analytics, notifications and friend-invite links.
• Purchase data: purchase and subscription status from Google Play, processed by RevenueCat. We never receive your payment card details.

5. How We Use Information

• To provide the features you use: profile, tests, sketches, chat, readings, horoscope, streaks and invite links.
• To sync your progress to your anonymous account so it is kept if you reinstall.
• To process purchases and restore them.
• To send reminders you allow, such as your daily love card and streak reminders.
• To keep the App working, fix problems, prevent abuse and improve features.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases: performance of our contract with you, your consent (for example notifications and location), and our legitimate interests (security, analytics and improvement).

6. AI Features

Soulmate sketches and soulmate chat replies are generated by AI and are for entertainment only. To reply in chat, your messages and the profile details needed for the reply are sent to our AI provider (Google). AI content can be reported in the App; reported content is hidden and reviewed.

7. Advertising

The current version of the App does not show ads. It includes Google advertising libraries that are not active yet. If we start showing ads, we will update this Policy and ask for consent where required.

8. Third-Party Services

We share data only with providers that help us run the App:

• Horoscope content provider: your zodiac sign is used to fetch your daily horoscope.

We do not sell your personal data.

9. App Permissions

• INTERNET: load content, use AI chat, process purchases and sync your data.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: check your connection before loading content or making a purchase.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: send optional reminders such as your daily love card and streak. You can turn them off anytime.
• VIBRATE: light haptic feedback when you tap, reveal or unlock something.
• CAMERA: take a photo of your palm or face for readings. Analyzed on your device, not uploaded. Requested only when you start a scan.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: restore your scheduled reminders after the device restarts.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: fill in your birth place only when you tap "Use current location". Approximate only, never in the background.
• com.android.vending.BILLING: process in-app purchases and subscriptions through Google Play.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: access your resettable advertising ID for analytics and, in future versions, ads.
• ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS: used by Google Ads and Analytics libraries (Android Privacy Sandbox) for advertising-related functionality and attribution.
• WAKE_LOCK: briefly keep the device awake to finish background tasks such as analytics and notification delivery. It does not keep your screen on.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: default library permission for scheduling background work. The App does not run a persistent foreground service.
• BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE: read install referrer information from Google Play for install attribution and invite links.
• com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE: receive push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• READ_GSERVICES: default Google library permission used by Firebase to read Google Play services configuration.
• com.ai.moonmate.app.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION: default permission that keeps communication between the App's components secure.

10. Retention and Deletion

• Profile, results and chat history are kept while you use the App. You can delete them anytime in Settings > Delete my data, or by emailing us.
• Images from palm and face scans are not stored on our servers.
• Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; support messages for up to 24 months.
• Purchase records are kept by Google Play and RevenueCat as required for billing; your Premium stays linked to your Google account after you delete your data.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, the DPDP Act 2023 in India), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent, object to processing and complain to a data protection authority. You can reset your advertising ID in your device settings and turn off notifications or location at any time. To make a request, email us at the address below.

12. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Security and International Transfers

We use encryption in transit and restricted access to protect your data. No system is completely secure. Your data may be processed outside your country by our providers, with safeguards required by law (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

14. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy and will show the new date above; for material changes we will notify you in the App.
